artMaX ONline - The European Corner in the European MaX-Project
We made a decision!
artMaX ONline - The European Corner in the European MaX-Project has found with the kind help of the LWL Textile Museum in Bocholt finally a winner and three further high quality artists who share the first 3 prizes.
The artworks were selected by a jury of experts from Germany. The selection process took place on the 29th of June 2011 in Bocholt, at the Spinning Mill of the Textile Museum in Bocholt. Finally 4 works are selected:
1st prize: Shahar Marcus — 'Freeze'
2nd prize: Elektro Moon Vision/Unstable Routine — 'NZ/X'
3rd prize: Marcello Mercado — 'Transferring, storing, sharing, and hybridizing: The perfect humus'
3rd prize: Chiara Passa — 'The virtual prigione'
The videos will later be uploaded to the European Corner's artCHannel and will be available in its system.
Furthermore all partners of artMaX ONline - The European Corner in the European MaX-Project are going to show the 4 selected works in their institutions at the artMaX ONline - The European Corner in the European MaX-Project media art festival on the weekend of 16th - 17th of July 2011.
